A Typical Agora Week
Here's what a typical week looks like here at Agora but make sure you keep an eye out for our monthly events and extras which get slotted in, sometimes at very short notice.
Monday Night
With a 7.30 sharp start is Alcossebre's weekly quiz with a new quiz master, or mistress each week. A great fun evening whilst raising money for good causes every week. Come and join us, we're a friendly bunch and you'll be made really welcome.
Warbling Wednesday
We're always looking for an excuse to have a good old singalong, so why not come and join in the fun and bring your singing talent with you, if you want to that is. This is from around eight until late each week. How about a lovely plate of chilli and Basmati rice, or perhaps something else from our special evening menu?
Thursday Night is Darts & Cards
The boys, and some girls, join for a game or a few of darts or cards each week on Thursday from 5.30 until late. Don't worry if you're not the greatest darts player in the world, you'll be in good company and it's always great fun with this lot. If darts or cards isn't your thing, just pop along for a chat or catch up.
Friday is 'Fish N Chip Fryday'
One thing we do take seriously is our fish n chips, which we have been told are the best outside of Whitby. Flaky north Atlantic cod in our own beer batter served with home-made tartar sauce, mushy or garden peas and home-made chips. We do have other things on the menu each Fryday if fish and chips is not your thing and the menu appears each week on our Facebook page.
Saturday
Saturday morning is a great opportunity to have a full English brekky, or if you have a big appetite why not try the 'Mighty Man' or even the 'Belly Buster'? If you missed out on Fish N Chips on Friday, here's another opportunity to feast on this classic dish cooked freshly to order.
Monday to Saturday
During the daytime we have a full menu, both Spanish and English available for you to enjoy. We also now have a scaled back evening menu for you to enjoy. Come and see us soon.
